A turnkey biomass pellet plant in India breaks down into eight major machine line items, each of which sets a fraction of the total capex. The 8th-Generation Centrifugal Pellet Machine (160 kW, ring die, 1,500–2,000 kg/h) sits at the heart of the line. Around it: a 173 kW hammer mill for upstream grinding, a 40 kW flash dryer for moisture reduction, an APCD pulse-jet bag filter for emission compliance, a horizontal pellet cooler, an over-band magnetic separator, an infeed chain conveyor and an industrial air compressor.
Pelletmachine.in publishes specifications for all eight machines verbatim. Ex-stock pricing for individual items like the 200 kW Yulong-pattern hammer mill (₹35,00,000 per piece) and the pellet mill ring die (₹1,00,000 per piece, MOQ 5) is available on the IndiaMART listing. Turnkey plant pricing is issued on application by the proprietor.
Sizing decisions are mostly downstream of feedstock and offtake. Paddy-straw plants in Punjab typically run a 1.5–2 TPH single-line configuration; rice-mill installations co-locating with husk feed often spec a 5 TPH multi-line system. Power and voltage availability at the plot determines whether the 160 kW pellet press and 173 kW hammer mill can be commissioned together, or whether staggered start-up is required.
On top of the machinery, plan for civil works (the foundation pads, bag-house pad and electrical substation room), insulated bagging area, raw-material yard and finished-product godown. These site costs are owner-built in most Punjab installations, though our engineering team will publish a CAD overlay against the plot at no charge once the survey is in.
Indicative ranges, with the caveat that every quote is issued in writing per spec: 1.5–2 TPH single-line plant — major capex, financed item; 5 TPH multi-line plant — substantially higher, NTPC-grade offtake typical. We model your specific case if you share feedstock specs and capacity target.
