Terms of sale & service.
The commercial and warranty terms under which we quote, sell and service biomass machinery and spare parts. India jurisdiction.
1. Quotation validity
Every quotation we issue carries an explicit validity window — currently 14 days from the date of issue printed on the PDF. After expiry we re-issue under prevailing material costs and lead times.
2. Pricing
All prices on this website and in our quotation PDFs are ex-works Sardulgarh, Punjab, in Indian Rupees (INR). Freight, insurance and any state-specific levies are quoted separately and confirmed at dispatch.
3. Taxes
Goods Service Tax (GST) is charged at the rate prevailing on the dispatch invoice — currently 18% IGST for inter-state buyers, or 9% CGST + 9% SGST for intra-state buyers in Punjab. We are a GST-registered supplier.
4. Payment terms
Default payment terms are 50% advance against confirmed purchase order, balance against pro-forma invoice before dispatch. Custom terms may be agreed in writing. All payments are by NEFT / RTGS to the account printed on our tax invoice — never to any other channel.
5. Lead time
Ex-stock spare parts dispatch same day (where stock and time-of-day permit). Bespoke machinery has a typical lead time of 6–10 weeks from confirmed PO and advance receipt. We publish the actual lead time on the order acknowledgement.
6. Warranty
Original-equipment items we manufacture carry a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to normal industrial use. Wear parts (dies, rollers, hammers, bearings) are excluded from time-based warranty and covered only against initial-defect claims raised within 14 days of receipt.
7. Title & risk
Title passes to the buyer on dispatch from our works at Sardulgarh. Risk passes to the buyer the moment goods are loaded onto the transporter. We recommend transit insurance — we'll arrange it on request and bill it separately.
8. Acceptance
Buyer is deemed to have accepted goods 7 days after delivery unless a written defect claim is received in that window. Performance commissioning by our field-service engineer (when contracted) supersedes this clause.
9. Returns
We do not accept returns on bespoke or custom-fabricated machinery. Standard catalogue spare parts may be returned, within 14 days of receipt and in original packaging, against a 20% restocking fee plus return freight at the buyer's cost.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure of performance due to events outside reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, fuel shortages, transport strikes, war, or pandemic-related disruption.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mansa, Punjab. Disputes not resolved within 30 days of written notice will be referred to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
